Their chicken is awesome! Compared to la Granja, its a little better i think. Great portions and good value for a whole family meal! The tallarines verde (pesto pasta) is great especially with the skirt steak. Staff is very friendly and restuarant is always kept clean.

Excellent food, low prices! This restaurant is very similar to La Granja, including prices and selection. I believe that they are even cheaper than La Granja. The food is very good and you get a good amount. The location of the restaurant is near La Granja and I couldn't be happier because that other place, the service is not the best. I recommend this restaurant.

This place is very similar to the La Granja chain restaurant, however it has more food selections! This place is like going to a Fast food Latin spot! I love it! Sometimes you don't like waiting at restaurant for dinner. The food is very delicious and the employees are very nice! I go here often since it's so close by. It's like people who buy pizza or order Chinese when you don't want to cook, well I order at this spot instead! lol. Rotisserie chicken is marvelous! The Chaufa rice is off the chain! The Causa is delicious! The only reason it doesn't deserve a full 5 stars at the moment is that they keep forgetting my takeout order, it hasn't been ready the past few times I went :(.

Not the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had but certainly not the worst. The prices are fairly inexpensive as well. The food was prepared promptly which was good b/c I had just come from the gym and I wanted to get home and eat asap. The white rice with the black beans is really good and they give you a good size portion of both. I also had the salad which was fine. The chicken was decent, not great. It was pretty much your typical Peruvian rotisserie chicken with some flavoring and spices although it was a little too greasy. Did it taste good? Yes, and to a degree, that is all that matters; however, they should do something about the grease. I've eaten at other Peruvian chicken restaurants and this one might have the greasisest chicken I have encountered. This being said, I did like the food and the portion sizes were just right. If I want something fast and I'm in the mood for this type of chow, I'm not opposed to going back.

First time having antecucho. Didn't have the heart for it in the past. It was good. Great selection of main courses. Enjoyed chicken soup for an appetizer. The seafood paella was tasty, but the fish was a bit tough and small. Overall, pretty good. The service was excellent, as they were very attentive.

GTFO Pollo - La Brasa has arrived, and I'm very happy to say, it is mo' better than you in every way. 1) Whole chicken family meal, which included chicken, rice and beans - $9.99. BOOM (!) goes the dynamite! That same meal at Pollo would be $14. And yeah, maybe you don't get bread rolls, but they're not really that great at Pollo anyway. 2) The rice was cooked with a hint of garlic - everyone in my fam commented and approved. 3) The chicken was cooked well - maybe a bit greasy, but I didn't mind. 4) I don't know if this is the norm, but they gave me a side of corn souffle on the house - wowza. It was sweet and fluffy and so delicious. If you need to pick up dinner on your way home, I'd really recommend this place. They have a few random items on their menu as well - like fried rice (??). I don't know what kind of food to call this exactly... it's not Cuban, but it wasn't really Peruvian either (all of the sauces were missing).

Wow! I don't write many reviews but this was our first try here and I was very pleasantly surprised!! It's not much to look at.. But their food was so much flavorful and delicious than surrounding similar places nearby: Las Vegas, chicken kitchen, pollo tropical.. Only reason it didn't get five stars, was when we arrived home with our take-out. They must have switched our bag with our whole chicken with another customers bag with their order of rice. When we returned to rectify this.. The management was very apologetic and added an extra 1/2 chicken for free to our order for our inconvenience of having to return. Besides this error (drive thrus get orders wrong all the time no matter where you go) the food was amazing! We got the whole rotisserie chicken & beef stir fry family meal with black beans and rice and an extra order of garlic potatoes. Enjoyed by all!!

Looks Like Los pollos hermanos from breaking bad. This is basically gourmet quality Peruvian fast food. I've never had carnitas so juicy and tender anywhere. The chicken has a strong savory flavor. The sea food is pretty good. My friend had civiche and it was as fresh and juicy. The manager was really nice and took the time to explain a lot of the different dishes. This is more than just your average chicken joint, it's a hidden treasure. The outside doesn't look like its in the best area, but the friendly service and great food inside make up for it.

I get the large chicken bowl a lot. Good food at great value. Had other dishes too and have not been disappointed yet.

I generally purchase from La Brasa when I need a quick and affordable meal for my family. Their whole chicken deal includes what looks to be about two cups of white rice (wish it was a little bigger) and what I would call a "sample" of their corn bread, its very small. The meal is about $12 and I usually add on a side. Everything is full of flavor and a great option for a last minute dinner. I've been here a handful of times, my only complaint is they ran out of chicken once. lol

We had the seafood fried rice and the portion is for about three to four servings and the price is great. We ordered the chicken nuggets for the kids and they tasted fresh and homemade, the best kids meal I've ever ordered. The chocolate cake is more of a mousse, but still very good. I would return.

Great place to eat when you're on the run and don't have much time to cook for the family. The whole chicken with rice, beans and plantains is a little under 20$, which I believe is more than fair to feed a family of 4, considering how costly it can be at most places to feed 4+. Also, the chicken is always moist and tender. Service is slow, which is why I didn't rate it 5 stars, but I always do take out, so It doesn't really bother me. The staff is friendly.

I ordered a palomilla steak with rice and beans, the steak wasn't all that, very chewy, and the rice was really hard, black beans were ok. My friend ordered 1/4 chicken and rice n beans, the chicken was good but rice was hard also. I also ordered a side of garlic potatoes that were really good and a chocolate cake that was awesome.

LaBrasa Rotisserie Peruvian Chicken 7/6/15 on University dr. Next to La Carretta, Parking is sufficient, but drive thru flow is odd. Order at counter & pickup when ready. Several hard booths to sit. They have rotisserie chicken , it's cheaper than Pollo Tropical or Granja , but lesser grade & taste chicken. Black beans very bland, good portion of white or yellow rice . The reason I'm come here is for their Good tasting , good portion & reasonably price $15 - Let me first explain - Arroz con Marizco's (shrimp) it's actually ( yellow rice w/ variety of seafood ) ( on the To Go menu they call it Paella ) & ( on the menu board under Seafood meals it isn't offered as a option ) but Arroz Marisco is on the picture display board behind the counter. Now, don't confuse this dish w/ the fried rice seafood & other fried rice that they oddly serve . Must be that oriental / Peru culture influence. sauces- red spicy, green garlicky , white bland Drink selection small self serve. Called in the order before because it takes about 10 min to prepare this dish , went to drive thru for a quick pickup. Good value Rating 8.5

Need a quick lunch but don't want typical fast food? Give La Brasa a try! Pollo Tropical comes to mind when I think of this place because they have a similar style of food. However, my meal here was much more flavorful and cheaper than Pollo! My regular size chicken bowl was $5.29. It came with 3 different side sauces which were all really good. I'm happy I finally gave this place a shot. I'll be back!

This particular location has a drive-thru window. Now, it's a very strange drive-thru in that there's no way to get to it but to pass it, conduct a three-point turn, and then, well... drive thru, but it's a drive-thru nonetheless. I've been a fan of La Brasa for a while. This one just happens to be the first one I find kitschy enough to review. You know. Because of the drive-thru. The large chicken-and-rice bowl can probably feed two people (if I'm not one of them), and when they ask if you want sauce, say, "Yes." It doesn't matter if you recognize what any of the sauces are. Say, "Yes." A resounding, "Yes." Sound your barbaric "Yes" over the roofs of the restaurant. So much better than Pollo Tropical or anything of that nature. Would only be better if it were called Los Pollos Hermanos.
